Today is Valentine’s day. As I mentioned on previous post, My boyfriend and I decided to spend our time doing practical but enjoyable things for the day.

For starting of the special day, as I have been thinking about putting green plant in apartment for little home decor, I suggested to go a place for it and my boyfriend agreed with it.

We went to OBI right away to get some plant right away. It was located in the nearest place that we can reach.

OBI GmbH & Co. Deutschland KG is a German multinational home improvement supplies retailing company. Founded in 1970, Obi is the largest DIY retailer in Europe, and the third largest in the world, behind The Home Depot and Lowe’s. It is headquartered in Wermelskirchen, Germany, and belongs to the Tengelmann Group.

Primarily, customers are families and traditional tradesmen, but professional tradesmen also value wide assortment of 40-60,000 articles per store on average. Core competence lies in supporting customers in all their small and large construction projects, with our products and with our advice.

On the way, we dropped by grocery store nearby and grabbed some donuts for us. And then got inside to take a look what we should get. OBI is not only dealing with materials for making and building up home appliances, but also with cute home decor items and green plants.

We directly got to a section for plant to decorate home and got 2 small items to put on our stereo and coach table in living room. One is a coffee plant and the other one is a Cactus.

Sorry to admit but I am not good at taking care of alive things like plants, so I thought the cactus would be the best idea for decorating and keeping it alive. Well, about coffee one, I had to get that because it looks so cute. See what I got from there from beautiful photos that I took!

After shopping, we cooked dinner by ourselves which was pork and beef steak with salad and side dishes of potato wedge and sweet potato fries. It was perfect Valentine’s day ever.
